Azerbaijan grossly violates the tripartite statement’s point 8, which states that there should be an exchange of prisoners of war, hostages, and other detainees. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government.
"Azerbaijan is still keeping and refusing to return at least 33 detainees, hostages, and other detained persons to Armenia, which is a gross violation not only of the tripartite statement, but also of humanitarian law," said the PM.
