Armenia is ready to move forward with Turkey in the political field.
As reports Armenpress this was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the discussion on security in South Caucasus at Munich international conference with the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid.
When Armenia made the decision to send humanitarian aid and rescuers to Turkey, it was only for humanitarian reasons, but in the process a positive response from Turkey was seen, and if it has positive political results, all the more so. But Armenia's initial initiative was purely humanitarian, Pashinyan said.
According to the Prime Minister, millions of people suffered from the earthquake in Turkey, and Armenia is ready to provide humanitarian aid to Turkey.
He added that some political agreements were reached during the Armenian foreign minister's last visit to Turkey.
Armenia is ready to move forward because the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey and the opening of the border will be positive not only for the development of the region, but also for the international situation, Pashinyan concluded.
