Within the framework of his working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan met with the President of Hungary Katalin Novák in Berlin, the Office of the 5th President reports.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities and ways of developing bilateral relations and cooperation.
Interlocutors stressed the importance of cooperation between Armenia and Hungary within the framework of Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and touched upon the prospects for realizing the existing potential of cooperation in other international platforms.
The Presidents exchanged views on the values and ideological communities of the Armenian and Hungarian peoples, emphasizing in particular the importance of Christian and traditional values for both peoples.
During the conversation, Hungarian President Katalin Novák invited the President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan to take part in the Demographic Summit in Budapest, which is dedicated to demographic problems in European countries and the search for ways to solve them.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue further effective contacts, contributing to closer cooperation between the two countries.
