It is clear that the routes passing through the territory of Armenia will be controlled in accordance with the legislation of Armenia, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan told reporters Wednesday.
And to the question as to in that case why the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia would stand on the road passing through Armenia’s Meghri city, Grigoryan responded: "And who told you that the FSB will stand [there]? First, let's talk about the [Russian] border guard troops operating as part of the FSB, so that we are clear about what it is about if you are quoting paragraph 9 of the [trilateral] statement of November 9[, 2020]. Second, there should still be discussions regarding the form of implementation of the function."
