The Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia has tried to find options to transfer information to international partners regarding the two Armenian servicemen who were captured by Azerbaijan from the territory of Armenia. The latter’s Human Rights Defender (ombudsperson), Anahit Manasyan, told reporters about this on Thursday.
"We have talked with their relatives, made approximate conversations about the telephone conversations that took place before that, and sent the information—translated into English—received from a person to the international organizations. I raise this issue in all meetings with international partners because we are dealing with people who have been given ‘captive’ status, and all [corresponding] rights should be extended to them," the ombudsperson of Armenia added.
