We have our agenda, Azerbaijan—its own; at the moment certain processes are underway by mediation. Vladimir Grigoryan, advisor to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President, told this to reporters during Tuesday’s demonstration in front of the French embassy in Armenia.

He explained that the command of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Artsakh was engaged in this matter. Grigoryan noted that the government of Artsakh, including the President, used possible and impossible tools to settle the situation with milder means, but despite that, the current situation was created.

The advisor of the Artsakh President added that there is consistency of steps, expressed hope that the voice of Artsakh will be heard, but at the same time reminded about the deterioration of the situation on a daily basis.

Grigoryan repeated the words of the Artsakh President that one week is given for the settlement of the situation, after which some other actions will be taken.

"Extreme measures will be taken, about which we don't want to say publicly for now. The Republic of Artsakh does not see itself as a part of Azerbaijan, as the Artsakh authorities, legally elected by the people, have said," he noted.

As for the position of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in this regard, the advisor to the Artsakh President called on to address the matter personally to Pashinyan.

He called European Council President Charles Michel’s proposal to send humanitarian goods through Azerbaijani-occupied Aghdam region to Artsakh unacceptable.
