The Russian Federation, Azerbaijan and Armenia will continue to work on the preparation of further meetings, in 2023 the summit of the leaders of the three countries is planned, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated in his comments on the results of trilateral negotiations with the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"We will continue active work in preparation for future meetings, among which it is planned to hold another summit of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia in Russia this year," he said.

The Russian side also proposed to start a tripartite dialogue of parliamentarians.

According to the Russian Foreign Minister, Moscow expects the signing of the peace treaty to be the culmination of the great negotiation process between Baku and Yerevan.

"We expect that the signing of this agreement will be the culmination of a great negotiation process that will summarize the efforts of Armenians and Azerbaijanis, which were initiated during the tripartite meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin," he said.
