During the meetings with us, a number of partners of international organizations, including especially various banking donor partner organizations in Armenia, show great interest in the Crossroads of Peace project. Gnel Sanosyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, stated this at a press conference Friday.

"In discussions with us, they try to indicate that they are also interested, and if there is a need to implement construction or other processes in some parts of that project, they will be happy to be engaged in those processes. So, the signals are quite positive," added Sanosyan.

And commenting on the statements made by Azerbaijan regarding the return of eight villages, the Armenian official said: "We have talked about this many times. There are some areas that Azerbaijan outlines, and there are areas that Armenia speaks about them. Now the process can be organized in the following way that those areas be outlined, their legal bases should be removed, and then two processes will take place: one is the exchange [of villages], the other is to leave physically, just to have certain spatial regulations. [By] ‘regulation,’ I mean that these areas have a certain surface area and the phenomenon called [border] ‘delimitation, demarcation’ can give the answer to this question. In my opinion, this question can be answered within the framework of that working group, when demarcation, delimitation of borders will take place."
