The armament that Azerbaijan acquires is not to stabilize the region in general, and we have discussed this matter numerous times. The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, told this to reporters Wednesday.
"We [i.e. Armenia] have proposed to have arms control mechanisms, too, because we believe that this control can be a process of establishing stability and long-term peace in the region. We are moving on this agenda," added Grigoryan.
