YEREVAN. – There was no tree cutting or construction works started in Teryan Street in Yerevan on Monday, head of Yerevan city hall PR department Arthur Gevorgyan said Armenian News-NEWS.am and added that corresponding bodies were assigned to get acquainted with the situation after the alarm.
The specialists arrived at the scene but found no cases of tree cutting or construction works. Moreover, there is no decision or document for the area in the city hall,” Gevorgyan said.
According to him, one of the telephone operators, Beeline Company,tried to implement drilling works and install a cable without any permission. But it had no connection to tree cutting or construction. Works are suspended till corresponding documents are presented.
Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier that residents of the street called the city hall and alarmed on Monday that trees are being cut in the yard.
