Armenia is ready to sign the peace treaty with Azerbaijan in one month. This was announced by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan at a joint news conference with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna in Tallinn Thursday.
Armenia and Azerbaijan are negotiating, they have almost finalized the text of the draft peace treaty, and Armenia is ready to complete and sign the peace treaty in one month Mirzoyan said.
The Armenian FM added, however, that he cannot say that they have seen a positive reaction from their Azerbaijani counterparts to this proposal to sign the peace treaty in a month.
Mirzoyan said he believes that they will do it and close the chapter of the conflict in the South Caucasus and bring peace to the region, and that this peace will be beneficial for the countries of the region and their citizens.
