YEREVAN. - The regular sitting of Armenia’s ruling Republican Party (RPA), led by President Serzh Sargsyan did not discuss staff related issue, that might prove interesting to the society, RPA press-secretary, MP Eduard Sharmazanov told journalists on Thursday, after the party sitting.

Regarding the discussion on the candidacy of parliament speaker, Sharmazanov said he will give additional information in the event of any news on the matter.

On journalists’ remark that tomorrow opposition Armenian National Congress will introduce Serzh Sargsyan’s official declaration of resignation, the MP said that’s opposition’s business.

This is not new: for the last 4 years the opposition demands for impeachment and speaks of early elections, said Sharmazanov.
