On October 8, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan participated in a roundtable discussion on the “Impact of Climate Change on Crisis Management and Mediation” organized by the German Foreign Ministry in Berlin. This was reported in the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

Touching upon the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Deputy Foreign Minister reaffirmed Armenia's readiness to sign a peace treaty with an already agreed text as soon as possible.

In this context, Vahan Kostanyan emphasized Armenia's commitment to forming mutual trust between the two countries, which is also evidenced by the withdrawal of Armenia's application to hold СОР 29.

Emphasizing the priority of human rights, the Deputy Minister stressed the importance of civil society participation in the climate and security dialogue.

In his speech, the Deputy Minister also touched upon other regional issues, emphasizing the importance of a positive agenda in the context of the development of bilateral relations with neighboring countries.
