An Indian man has demonstrated his skills in micro-engineering by creating the world's smallest washing machine, measuring just 32.5 x 33.6 x 38.7 mm (1.28 in x 1.32 in x 1.52 in).

Sebin Saji's washing machine, which is smaller than the digital brainchild of the Tamagotchi, has been confirmed by the Guinness World Records as the smallest washing machine in the world.

In order to break this record, Saji demonstrated that his washing machine is up to the task and can do the full cycle of washing, rinsing, and spinning.

The washing machine, which Saji needed a special digital caliper to measure, weighs just 24.9 grams (0.88 ounces)—slightly larger than two Oreo cookies.
