Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the role of Azerbaijan in the development of international logistics corridors in Eurasia.

"Indeed, you quite accurately noticed that the role of Azerbaijan, especially in the development of logistics corridors, is very important—but not only that," Putin said, reports RIA Novosti.

In particular, he drew attention to the growth of trade between Azerbaijan and Russia as well as other BRICS countries, which, according to him, is also an important component of interaction.

In his address at the even, the president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, noted that large transport corridors such as the North-South and the East-West pass through his country. According to him, all their segments are successfully operating in Azerbaijan.
