We assess all Pashinyan-Aliyev meetings positively in terms of dialogue. Chief of staff of the Armenian prime minister's office, Arayik Harutyunyan, stated this at a briefing with reporters at the National Assembly of Armenia Wednesday, and regarding the meetings between Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev.

"Certainly, we are aiming for the processes launched and the signing of the peace treaty [between Armenia and Azerbaijan] to become a reality in the near future, and these contacts are beneficial in that sense," said Harutyunyan.

He added that the Armenian party sees opportunities to agree on the non-agreed points of this peace treaty.

Harutyunyan did not give details of what issues Pashinyan and Aliyev discussed recently in Kazan, Russia and only said that a wide range of issues on the table were discussed.
