There are channels through which contacts with Azerbaijan are underway, including the eleventh Azerbaijani draft; we have received the edition recently and are considering it. Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan announced this to reporters at the National Assembly of Armenia Monday. Kostanyan noted this in connection with the draft of the peace treaty with Azerbaijan

"There are still issues on which the views of the [two] parties differ, but we see an opportunity to bring these views closer." Kostanyan added

And regarding the remark that on the one hand, Azerbaijani president Aliyev expresses optimism in connection with the signing of the peace treaty, yet, on the other hand, threatens Armenia, the Armenian deputy FM said: "Armenia continues to be interested in the process of normalization of relations with Azerbaijan, and we believe it is the positive messages that help this process, as well as prepare the communities of both states."
