US ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien sent a New Year's message to the Armenian people.

In her message, the diplomat said, in particular, that celebrating the New Year holidays, she wants to wish for peace, happiness, and prosperity in the coming year. The holidays are a great opportunity to reflect on shared accomplishments and plan for the coming year.

Kvien said that ahead of the New Year, she is happy to state that the ties between the people of the US and Armenia are stronger than ever, she looks forward to the further development of relations between both countries in 2025, and she is grateful for the warm and friendly attitude shown to her and her family during their stay in Armenia.

The US ambassador added that thanks to the Armenian people, she was able to feel at home in Yerevan, and formed new holiday traditions here, one of which is the purchase of vintage Christmas tree decorations from the Vernissage open-air market in downtown Yerevan.
