Discussions are taking place regarding the dissolution of the Minsk Group, but you yourself emphasized that the meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia will take place today, I think it is not right for me to advance narratives from here and put Ararat Mirzoyan in molds. Armenian National Assembly (NA) speaker Alen Simonyan told this to reporters in the NA Tuesday—and in response to a reporter's question as to whether the Armenian authorities still hold the view that the OSCE Minsk Group should be dissolved after the signing of a peace treaty with Azerbaijan.

"The discussions are taking place as follows: each side presents its position on the issue, and as a result of the discussions, the golden mean is found," added Simonyan.

And regarding a reporter's remarks that he positively assessed the work of the EU monitoring mission in Armenia, but one of the demands put forward by Azerbaijan is to exclude the presence of third countries in Armenia, the NA speaker stated that Armenia also presented its proposal in response, but did not elaborate on what it is about.

"We hope that the period of the EU monitoring mission in Armenia will be extended," added Alen Simonyan.
