Statements being made from Azerbaijan are cause for concern. This was stated by the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, speaking with reporters Thursday.

"In addition, we see that intensive military exercises are being conducted [by Azerbaijan], flights are being carried out [there] from other countries—apparently transporting military equipment to [Azerbaijani capital] Baku.

"In recent years, we [i.e. Armenia] have worked in various directions to create stability in the region. The EU [monitoring] mission in Armenia, Armenia's joining the Rome Statute, military reforms in Armenia are also important factors in ensuring stability. We are taking all this into account together," added the head of the Security Council of Armenia.
