My dispute with Lukashenko is over, I have nothing more to dispute with Lukashenko. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during his press conference Friday—and when asked to comment on Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko’s recent statement that Armenia was to blame for the 2020 war, and that allegedly Azerbaijan had a pragmatic approach, did not want war, and that Pashinyan is destroying Armenia.

“Sorry, with all due respect to you, don’t misinterpret,” Pashinyan added, addressing the reporter who asked the question.

The diplomatic scandal between Yerevan and Minsk arose after Lukashenko’s outrageous statements during a visit to Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev. In response, Pashinyan announced that as long as Lukashenko is the president of Belarus, he will not visit that country.
