Forty servicemen died in the Armenian Armed Forces in 2024, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.

A total of 27 of these soldiers died in circumstances related to military service (4 by the adversary), 5 as a result of murder, 1 being a military training camp participant (fire), 7 as a result of suicide and causing suicide, 4 in traffic accidents, 1 due to violation of the rules for driving military vehicles, 2 as a result of plane crash, 3 due to illness, and 1 as a result of an accident. Thirteen others died as a result of circumstances unrelated to military service (3 due to an illness, 7 in traffic accidents, 1 as a result of suicide, and 2 in an accident).
