The public interest in the peace treaty with Azerbaijan is understandable. But given the fact that there is still no agreement on the time and place of its signing, we continue to work. And when the work is completed, we will publicly present the text. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, told reporters this on Thursday.

Grigoryan called the aforesaid a “diplomatic approach to the matter.”

Also, the Secretary of the Security assured that the Armenian authorities have publicly carried out the work and shared the entire process with the Armenian public.

“In the public sphere, we have shared detailed information about the peace treaty with the public,” Grigoryan added.

According to him, Armenia has not proposed specific venues for the signing of this peace treaty, but its signing will be carried out in a balanced way.

When asked whether the Azerbaijani armed forces will withdraw from the sovereign territories of Armenia as a result of the signing of this peace agreement, Grigoryan replied that he has addressed this topic many times.

"This matter will be ‘addressed’ within the framework of the [Armenia-Azerbaijan] border delimitation process," noted the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia.
