We are definitely not hiding anything. This assurance was given by the deputy minister of defense of Armenia, Arman Sargsyan, speaking with reporters on Monday—and in response to a request to comment on the recent shootings on the border with Azerbaijan.

Also, Sargsyan called to be guided by the information being provided by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

“Follow the official publications,” he said.

At around 12:50am on Monday, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire in the direction of Khnatsakh village of Armenia’s Syunik region, as a result of which a house was damaged.

Azerbaijan has been tirelessly escalating the tension on its border with Armenia in recent times—and amid its refusal to sign a peace treaty with Armenia.
