Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, together with President Vahagn Khachaturyan, National Assembly speaker Alen Simonyan, and Armenia's top leadership, on Thursday visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Genocide, and paid tribute to the 1.5 million victims of this tragedy.

Pashinyan laid a wreath at the memorial, and placed flowers at the Eternal Flame perpetuating the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Next, the PM, together with Armenia's top leadership, visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, where an exhibition dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide has opened.

The exhibition features about seven dozen eyewitness documents: memoirs, diaries, reports, photo-documentary materials, films, etc. The geographical scope of the eyewitnesses-documenters includes several dozens of countries. These people, were in the Ottoman Empire due to various circumstances, and they had witnessed and documented the Armenian Genocide.

The exhibition features as well Turkish documentarians who had documented the crime against Armenians in their memoirs, in the press of the time, and through legal proceedings.

The exhibition will run until April 2026.
