Today, on the morning of May 9, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Samvel Shahramanyan visited the Yerablur Military Pantheon in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

He was accompanied by members of the Artsakh government, MPs of the National Assembly, and clergy.

May 9 has been a triple holiday for Armenians for years: the day of the victory of the Soviet peoples in World War II, the creation of the Artsakh Defense Army, and the liberation of Shushi city of Artsakh in 1992. However, Armenians lost Shushi as a result of the painful defeat suffered in the 44-day Artsakh war in the fall of 2020.
