The negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan are taking place bilaterally. Secretary of the Security Council Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, stated this while speaking with reporters at the Victory Park in Yerevan today.

He added that they see effectiveness in these bilateral negotiations, they will continue to work in that format, and there was no need for Russian mediation.

Regarding the remark that these negotiations are not bilateral, and that Turkey has direct involvement in them—and in favor of Azerbaijan, the secretary of the Security Council Armenia asked: “And whose side will Russia be on?”

“When you have the answer to that question, we will discuss the matter,” Grigoryan added.
