A protest is being held Monday in front of the French embassy in Armenia.

The protesters came to this diplomatic mission to express their indignation against the policy pursued by the French authorities.

Hayk Ayvazyan, head of the “Luys” Information and Analytical Center, told reporters that the people’s aforesaid dissatisfaction is connected with the fact that Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) was declared Azerbaijani during the meeting that was organized by France. Moreover, France did not offer a solution that would at least postpone the status of Artsakh.

“The transfer of Artsakh was the collective West's plan; the plan was successfully implemented. (…). Here is France, which positions itself as a friend of Armenia and is attempting to create the impression that it can be a guarantor of Armenia's security,” Ayvazyan added, in part.
