Usually during such visits, the parties make a joint statement. But our colleagues have been a little impatient. Yes, there is such a plan. There will be a joint statement on the agenda of the visit. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told this to reporters at the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia Wednesday—and regarding his planned visit to Turkey.

“I can say that the visit is indeed planned. And in order not to violate the direct arrangements regarding the visit, in terms of jointness of statements, at this moment I will only say what is already known,” Pashinyan said.

NA speaker Alen Simonyan had confirmed Tuesday that the Armenian PM will visit Turkey at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
