Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Turkey was held in a quite positive atmosphere. Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan stated this during a press briefing after Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government.

"Matters related to both Armenia-Turkey bilateral relations and the South Caucasus and Middle East regions were discussed. It was recorded that the positions of Armenia and Turkey on a number of topics are quite close.

As for the opening of the Armenia-Turkey land border for third-country citizens and persons holding diplomatic passports, I stress: both sides have once again recorded that the [respective] arrangement is in force. In any case, we still shall to take steps in this direction. I believe you are familiar with the position of the Turkish side," said the deputy FM of Armenia.
