Armenia can sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan in any city in the world. Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan announced this during a press briefing after Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government.

“I suppose there are thousands, if not tens of thousands of cities in the world. Armenia is ready to sign a document on the normalization of relations with Azerbaijan in any of these cities,” said Kostanyan.

According to the Deputy foreign minister, the process of signing this document is a priority for Armenia.

Also, Kostanyan stated that Turkey has given quite positive signals to Armenia and Azerbaijan that it is interested in the normalizing of relations and signing a peace treaty between the two parties.
