Archbishop Mikael Adjapayan has been at the Investigative Committee for about 4 hours.

The flow of citizens to the Investigative Committee building does not stop. They gather to express their support for the Church and Adjapayan.

Many citizens came to Yerevan marching from the Holy See of Etchmiadzin, and others joined later.

It was previously reported that the leader of the "Sacred Struggle" movement, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, and his supporters were arrested. On the eve, it became known that a criminal case was initiated against the head of the Shirak Diocese, Archbishop Mikael Adjapayan, under part 2 of article 422 of the Criminal Code (public calls for seizure of power, violation of territorial integrity, refusal of sovereignty, or violent overthrow of the constitutional order).

Today, masked NSS officers came to the Holy See of Etchmiadzin. The situation periodically escalated. Against this background, law enforcement gave two hours for Adjapayan to appear at the Investigative Committee voluntarily.
