According to our information, law enforcement officers are conducting searches at the head office of Tashir Group company in Yerevan.

This morning, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had threatened to dismiss the employees of the Electric Networks of Armenia company for engaging in “political intrigues” instead of carrying out their duties.

This was done after the first vice president of the Tashir Group of Companies, Narek Karapetyan, had announced a march in the capital Yerevan against the injustices and illegalities taking place in Armenia. Karapetyan had called on people to gather on Friday at 66pm near the Seasons (Malibu) Park on Mashtots Avenue in downtown Yerevan. From there, the participants of this action of protest will march  to the detention center where the president of the Tashir Group of Companies, Russian Armenian entrepreneur Samvel Karapetyan is held.
