Armenia's roads will be under Armenia's jurisdiction, with all technical and substantive matters arising from it. Davit Khudatyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, announced this at a press briefing on Thursday.

He added that the principles of reciprocity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, and territorial integrity were clearly stated in the documents signed by the prime minister of Armenia, the president of Azerbaijan, and the president of the United States, in Washington DC, on August 8.

"The initialing of the peace agreement [with Azerbaijan] brings Armenia a very big step closer to peace, which is a long-awaited, joyful, and important event for each and every citizen of the country," Khudatyan noted.
