Armenia is being unblocked after 30 years, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in his address to the nation.

"How will the communication routes be opened [in the region]? First of all, the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan should be demarcated and delimited in those sectors. This matter should be the subject of detailed examination in the near future. This does not open the ‘door’ to new concerns for us [i.e. Armenia].

There are many questions about what will happen to the [Azerbaijani-]occupied territories [of Armenia] of more than 200 square kilometers. This reality should be resolved in the border delimitation process. But the logic of peace is that there are sovereign territories of Armenia that are under the control of Azerbaijan and there are Azerbaijani territories that are under the control of the Republic of Armenia," Pashinyan said.
