We are conducting direct negotiations with Turkey and, of course, on regional programs; the implementation of new programs will have a certain impact, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at a press briefing Thursday.
He noted that the Washington declaration of August 8 has two parties—Armenia and Azerbaijan—as well as the signature of the US president as a witness.
“This is very important,” Pashinyan added.
"As for the matter of lifting or not lifting the blockade on Armenia without opening the border with Turkey, then this can happen in at least several directions," the Armenian PM noted.
But he expressed confidence that the Armenian-Turkish border will be reopened at some point.
