The land through which the infrastructure will pass through the territory of Armenia, which will be used, including by Azerbaijani trains, will belong to Armenia, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced in an interview with the Public Television Company of Armenia—and referring to Syunik Province.

“The talk about 99 years has no relation to reality yet. The ownership of the land cannot be disputed,” the Armenian FM said. To recall, US President Donald Trump had announced during a press conference on August 8 in Washington that the US will be leasing the road for 99 years.
