Armenia is ready to have an open border and diplomatic relations with Turkey even tomorrow. Ruben Rubinyan, deputy speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia and the country's special envoy in the process of normalizing of Armenian-Turkish relations, announced this while speaking with reporters.

Rubinyan assured that there are no obstacles on the Armenian side in this regard, and pointed to the recent establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Pakistan as an example of successful establishment of relations. According to him, this is a significant event, and there is hope for progress in the aforesaid process with Turkey.

“If there is a will—and there is one on our part—it will happen in a short time,” Ruben Rubinyan stated, recalled that there are no preconditions on the Armenian side in that regard, and assured that respective work will continue.
