In general, relations between Russia and Armenia are developing stably and well, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the Kremlin.

"The trade [between Russia and Armenia] is almost $11 billion—I believe this is 34 percent of Armenia's foreign trade. According to our statistics, Armenia's trade with Russia is $11.7 billion; this is a record figure for 2024.

Relations [between Russia and Armenia] are developing in all other domains also. We always have something to discuss, although we met recently, but nevertheless, we are very glad to see you in Moscow," Putin noted, addressing Pashinyan.
