Our peace is one month and 20 days old, and we must take care of it, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at a briefing with Armenian reporters in Strasbourg, France, Monday. He stated this regarding the initialing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8 in Washington DC.

“Those who speak beyond this logic, they want that child not only to ‘get sick,’ but also to ‘die.’ It seems that they are saying, ‘This so good, let’s take advantage of the opportunity. Since others also want that child to die, let’s kill that child with our own hands.’ Many people in Armenia and outside Armenia are inspired to prove that this is not peace, this is just an empty statement. I say that we will try to prove the opposite, and allow [me] to express a conviction that we will prove the opposite,” added the Armenian premier.
