As part of the 151st Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva, Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan met with Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Sahib Gafarova.

“During our discussions, we welcomed the agreements reached in Washington and the steps being taken toward normalizing relations.

We also emphasized the importance of continuing constructive dialogue and expressed our readiness to support measures at the parliamentary level aimed at strengthening mutual trust,” Simonyan wrote.
