“Our relations with Georgia are developing very naturally, dynamically; we have a strategic partnership, are in daily contact with our colleagues,” Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated during Monday’s debates on the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2026” in the National Assembly.

“In the case of our other neighbor, the Islamic Republic of Iran, again despite numerous speculations, assumptions, and so on, we have excellent relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran. We are almost in daily contact. The manipulations [claiming] that the Islamic Republic of Iran is dissatisfied, or it is now going to express in any way its strong discontent over the issue of unblocking of [regional] infrastructures, have again proven not to correspond to reality.

Moreover, I will say that we have already publicly stated that our relations are of a strategic nature and they will be reflected in an appropriate document. Recently I gave an example, and I want to repeat it: where have you seen relations with complications in which the parties agree that they are now establishing a strategic partnership — already on paper — and agree that, among other things, they will build a second bridge as soon as possible? That is the conviction and agreement between us and Iran,” emphasized the Armenian FM.
