Armenia’s cooperation with the European Union (EU) has quite significant components, and new documents are also planned to be signed, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated during Monday’s debates on the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2026” in the National Assembly.

“Relations [of Armenia] with Middle Eastern countries, of course, occupy a special place. You will recall that we established mutual recognition with Saudi Arabia, and now a very good dialogue is ongoing. And we decided to open an embassy in Oman. Regarding other Middle Eastern countries, I want to highlight our interesting and expanding agenda with the United Arab Emirates and also with Qatar.

You know how intensive relations we have with India.

Without justifying all the pessimistic forecasts, we also managed to establish relations with Pakistan, which I consider an extremely important achievement,” the Armenian FM added.
