There are certain working contacts with our Azerbaijani counterpart. The last meeting that took place, we jointly visited the south and Azerbaijani territory, but this was mainly related to possible border delimitation fragments connected to TRIPP and the process, which will have a direct connection to the location of infrastructure. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated this during the question-and-answer session with the government, in the National Assembly of Armenia Wednesday.

“Of course, there are separate working contacts that directly relate to the continuation of the process, but at this moment I cannot say more. I believe the contacts are constructive, and in some time we will have information to publish regarding when the next meeting will take place,” Grigoryan said.

He added, “The event of August 8 immediately led to [the fact] that there is a bilateral stimulus to continue the border delimitation process, and it is essentially being discussed. In addition, the conversation became more specific regarding what positions the infrastructures will have and, depending on the positions, which sections we need to delimit so that we have a work base to start the work, even the design work. Both are border delimitation, but here it is possible that we will have some areas to be delimited urgently so that we contribute to the infrastructural development of the ‘Trump Route.’ but separately, regardless of that, I am confident that we will continue our process.”
