Armenia continues to cooperate with various countries with nuclear technologies on the construction of a new nuclear reactor, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press briefing Thursday.

“We [i.e. Armenia] are currently working with all our partners: France, the US, Russia, South Korea, and China. The necessary decisions will be made after receiving reliable answers to all possible questions,” Pashinyan said.

He specifically recalled that on August 8, 2025, three memorandums of intent were signed in Washington, one of which concerns the energy sector, which also includes nuclear energy.
