Armenia is not attempting to do anything against Russia, Armenian National Assembly speaker Alen Simonyan stated on Thursday.

"I don’t want there to be such a perception here, in Russia, that Armenia is trying to do anything against Russia in any way. We [i.e. Armenia], against Russia, against a friendly ally country for us... I want to assure you that... we don't have such a perception and never will.... It is wrong in the context of everything that we already have and what exists," Simonyan said during a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in Moscow.
