Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance are making a joint statement. Prior to this, they held a one-on-one meeting.

It is worth noting that at the time of Vance’s arrival at 26 Baghramyan Avenue near the residence, a protest was taking place demanding the release of Armenian prisoners held in Baku. The protesters were chanting in English: “Free Armenian hostages!”

Vance arrived in Yerevan on an official visit. At Zvartnots Airport, he was welcomed by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, the Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, Deputy Foreign Minister Vagan Kostanyan, and the Armenian Ambassador to the U.S., Narek Mkrtchyan.
