Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan commented on the nomination of businessman Samvel Karapetyan as a candidate for prime minister from the “Strong Armenia” party.
“According to the legislation and the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, a person holding citizenship of a second, and in this case even a third country, cannot be a candidate either for deputy or for prime minister. And what you are talking about does not exist either de jure or de facto, therefore I do not consider it necessary to comment on something that does not exist,” Pashinyan stated.
