Regarding the visit to Tehran, discussions are ongoing; we are conducting negotiations on a possible strategic cooperation agreement with Iran. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this today, February 13, in response to a question from News of Armenia – NEWS.am.
“When the negotiations on the agreement are successfully concluded, it will be signed. There are no specific timeframes — whether in spring or autumn,” he added.
Earlier, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, Khalil Shirgolami, said that the signing of a comprehensive document on strategic cooperation between Iran and Armenia is expected during the visit of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Tehran this year.
