Deputy Defense Minister Arman Sargsyan told this to reporters at the National Assembly today—and referring to the criticism that the region is tense while the defense minister is traveling around communities instead of developing a plan on how Armenia will defend itself in case of danger.

“There is peace in the Republic of Armenia, and I want us to move forward taking this reality into account. I can repeat the same thing to you again that the relevant bodies are naturally carrying out the necessary work, and there is peace in the Republic of Armenia,” Sargsyan said, but he did not respond to other questions.

And the reporters were asking whether, in connection with the developments in Iran, the Armenian army has been brought to the top readiness level, and whether there were attempts by persons to penetrate from Iran to Armenia.
